OFF-CUT: Curved Mirror
The OFF-CUT series is a body of work that showcases designs that are created from surplus materials from other projects in the workshop.
The off-cut mirror is assembled from 36 individual curved parts, jointed and glued to form one near seamless circle of cork.
The mirror frames are carved directly from these blocks, allowing the unique texture to be fully appreciated.
Each mirror is unique, where the texture of the cork varies across the material.
